Introducing the Limited Edition Varkatope, the brand’s most innovative combination frame to date. Inspired by the need to create a new perspective on wearing a bi-focal lens, DITA created a way to free the wearer from traditional lens construction. For the first time, a removable tension-held bifocal lens gracefully integrates with Varkatope’s external titanium lens rim allowing the wearer to utilize an Rx reading lens. Every intricate piece has been carefully calibrated for luxury and endurance, from the frame’s custom hinges to the proprietary hex screws. The temples of the frame are cleverly sculpted to reveal a glimpse of its own intricate internal machinery; a notch in the acetate just below the temple connection, creating a flex for added comfort. The Varkatope is extremely limited to 290 black and gold, and 210 tortoise and gunmetal hand numbered pieces.
